This does take some work though. First you need to take a subject, any subject and write a bit about it. This can be from several lines to a full page. Like many of these new social sites, people then vote as to whether is should be added to the index, either way you gain “Points”. With these points you promote any site you want. The better the article, the more point you make.

The best part of this is that you have full control of your link and link text, and by writing about something related to your link you get a highly relevant link to your site. If you haven’t tried this, it’s at least worth the few minutes it will take to get signed up and promote a link or two. Then you can site back and see if this new link to your site gets picked up and considered valuable to the search engines.

One thing I have already noticed is that this site is active. Even though it seems new there is a constant addition of new stories. Just by reviewing other peoples stories you can quickly start to gain some points to promote your own site. From what I’ve seen so far, this is well worth the small investment of time it takes to make it work.
