MSN Messenger Adds Search Functionality

It seems as though MSN has added a search function to it’s popular messenger service.

The search box is displayed below the list of contacts and above the ad. All you need to do is simply type in your search query and click Search.

MSN search results are visible in a new window. One has the option to search the web, news or images.

It will be interesting to see if Google follows suit with its messenger, Google Talk.

Thats interesting, I was wonderring if they would ever do that, and now they have it took me to read this to notice that it was there! It snuck up unawares without me realising.

I personally feel google talk is not yet catching on, I’ve been using msn messenger for years now and lathough it has its problems once in a while it is by far better than the existing google talk with regards to features.

still, the search features is a good thing I suppose, now that I know its there!
