Would you explain
1) Microsoft does not have the intention to improve quality while increasing revenue.

I am not overly impressed with the layout of their beta search system. I think the direction they took on it with the scroll bar is clunky and hard to view search results on.

Will they ever make a serious challenge? Your guess is as good as mine. With the brain trust they have at MSN you would think they would get a clue as to what we want.

I simply want an easy to use search engine with good results. The fluff does not have to be there and the contextual ads do not bother me as long as they are not what the engine is completely about.

Since this is still in beta I will watch and see how it progresses.
